Hello;
My Name is Heath Ruddick and this is how the hat lasso came to be.
I had always thought that there had to be a better way to safely and easily store
your cowboy hat; that did not involve drilling holes in your vehicle or using suction
cups that may only stay stuck sometimes. Then about ten years ago, while
working cattle with an Australian buddy, i noticed that he had electrical wire strung
about in his truck. Curiosity finally got the best of me and i asked the obvious
question: "What on earth is all that for?'. He Replied, "That's me hat rack mate!".
That experience got the wheels turning. The wire seemed to work fairly well,
however there were a few things that bothered me. The system that he developed
was too cumbersome and it just wasn't portable enough. Not to mention it didn't
look very nice. There had to be a way to make a hat rack that was portable, easy
to install, easy to use, and also looked great. While messing with an old clipper reel
that is used for fishing it came to me; combine the two!
There have been many prototypes, till i came up with the Hat Lasso of today. Hat
lasso has a life of it's own now, and it is always growing and expanding. Like any
product we strive to make the highest quality and most exciting styles. Keep an eye
out for the new western legend, coming to a truck near you!
